Track Workers

Corfad Civil and Construction are an established rail construction company, our rail welding division and plant hire sectors are at the forefront of our industry. We have gained a reputation for high quality of work, commitment to safety and client satisfaction.

We are seeking experienced track certifiers, skilled rail aluminothermic welders, welders offsiders and skilled track workers along with machine operators within NSW, VIC, WA and SA for an immediate start. We are looking for highly motivated and reliable rail workers who have previous rail industry experience, and can demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

  2. Aluminothermic Welders
  3. Skilled Rail Labourers
  4. Welders off siders
  5. Machine Operators
  6. Verse Testers
  7. Leading Hand/Supervisor

Compulsory Minimum Requirements:

Required/Mandatory

  • Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW / MTA Card)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Rail
  • WHS Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Certificate II in Rail and Infrastructure/ Certificate III (Track cert)
  • Current Rail Welding Certificates
  • CAT 3 Medical / CAT 1 Medical
  • Drivers Licence with own transport
  • Machine operator Tickets
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment and Rail CAT 3 or CAT 1 Medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Strong commitment to Safety and Teamwork
  • Rail References to be checked for experience.

High Rail Excavator Operator

Corfad Civil and Construction are an established rail construction company, our rail welding division and plant hire sectors are at the forefront of our industry. We have gained a reputation for high quality of work, commitment to safety and client satisfaction.

We are currently seeking High rail Excavator Operators, for both full time and casual positions, with Metro and FIFO opportunities.

We can offer an immediate start above award rates.

You will be required to produce a clear Drug and Alcohol test and be willing to work shift work.

 

To be considered for this role you must possess:

  • RIW Card
  • Excavator certification RII preferred  
  • Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure preferred
  • Must have TLIC3045 certification & Hi-rail experience Essential
  • Experience of operating Tamper attachment
  • Undercutting experience beneficial
  • White card
  • Current driver’s license and reliable transport
  • must have the right to work in Australia.

Role will Include:

  • Must be able to pass Rail Cat 1 medical
  • Operating Hi Rail Excavator
  • Maintenance works
